Here's the shot that was in the paper. He's anxiously waiting on the timer to go off so he can retrieve his egg from the colored water. He had a very tough time controlling himself, even if it doesn't show in this picture! -Seth

Vicki, a friend of ours from church, asked us to let her snap a couple pictures of Elijah coloring Easter eggs on Sunday for the Catoosa Times paper. We really hadn't planned on diving into this adventure for another year or so, but we obliged. I offered to take the pictures and just email her some of them and here's the result.Oh yeah, Elijah had a blast. I'll post a few more pictures from the experience shortly.-Seth

Shipwrecked

Eli loves playing with his boats in the bathtub. The letters and numbers are cool and he will sometimes entertain the idea of telling me what they are, what color they are, etc. However, boats are where it's at. He built some boat trophy/shipwreck whatever thing here and wanted me to take a picture.-Seth

Bath fun

I was giving Elijah a bath tonight when he decided he needed 'cool hair'. So we fixed it up and of course I had the camera handy so he requested a photograph be taken (you're thinking "riiiight", but he really did!). Immediately following this picture the bathtub turned into a wavepool and my camera barely survived the epic battle of Eli vs the water. In other unrelated (er related in a way) news.. Elijah's baby sister, Emery, will arrive on 4/28! -Seth

I was shooting some portraits of a lil 5 week old baby the other day and Elijah thought it was necessary that I take his picture too. So, while the baby was taking a feed-break I took his picture. There was a bit of jealousy flowing that evening as the baby was receiving all of the attention. I'm sure we have a lot of that in store for us here in a few months!-Seth

Cool bike

He also spotted his bicycle in the garage. He hasn't been able to ride on it because he's not quite big enough yet. However, he always wants to give it a try. So I pulled the bike out and let him hop on it and try to pedal. He's got a little growing to do, but he'll get there and then we can get out and ride the neighborhood together! Shortly after this shot he said 'Daddy, take a picture of my cool bike!' as he stepped away to allow for a bike-only shot. He cracks me up.-Seth

We were finally able to get outside for a little bit last week. It was still pretty chilly, but Elijah was more than ready get out of the house and 'run'. He found my football and decided to play with it for a little while. I'm messing with applying some textures to the photos to give them a little different look so we'll see how that goes. I've got a couple more from this set coming up.-Seth

Here's the Christmas card I designed for us this year. We went out with Hannah's sisters to get some family/Christmas card shots for them as well as some of our own. The top half is the front and the bottom half is the back of the card.-Seth
